Oscillations and Modulations

The morning after the second night of this event which has returned this year after a hiatus of a few years. I think I don’t need to mention the C word, you get it.

Kudos to Jonny Delaney for taking the reins and driving O+M forward this year as I took a complete back seat in the organisation element. He put together a fantastic line up and series of events this year and we still have one day to go. Last nights performance went really well and I will share some video of that soon. For now, a short video or two to give you an idea of what I was up to on stage. Live sampling and modular synthesisers times two. As scary as that sounds it went without a hitch (phew). I would normally go a bit heavier than this style wise but wanted to get the crowd up and moving a bit given the 11pm time slot. All in all; a fantastic night had by all and looking forward to seeing The Cyclist et al tonight at the closing party. Such a gentleman, he and Aaron Thomas absolutely killed it last night. Shout out to all the other performers over the event so far, amazing days/nights. Roll on the closing party!

Here is a VCO design that I put together for our festival in 2019 that attendees could build and take home with them. This year, similar workshops took place with Nordl3 taking the participants through the construction of a MIDI sequencer that he had designed. Amazing. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1046512306345029

If you are in NI, get yourself down to the closing party tonight in Sandinos, details on the facebook page (and below). if you missed it this year, keep an eye out for it the next time around, put it into the diary and get yourself down to Derry!
